Hi PNMs, New Members, and Sisters!!!

 

On behalf of the Panhellenic community, I am so excited to welcome you into our sorority community. Recruitment is such a special time for everyone involved, and I am extremely grateful to serve as your Vice President of Membership Recruitment as you start, or continue, your journey through Panhellenic life. I remember when I went through formal recruitment two years ago, my freshman year, and found the place I now call home. It was nerve-racking, but I was so excited to go through the experience. I had no clue exactly where I would end up, but I found a place where I belonged and have made lifelong sisters. Having the opportunity to then recruit the following year on the chapter side, where I was able to be that support person for a PNM each round, was an amazing experience, and now I am heading into my 4th and final sorority recruitment. I get to promote Greek unity among the chapters and guide PNMs to find their forever homes as well. All of these perspectives have shaped me into who I am today, a strong leader and a reliable sister. My special journey has led me here, exactly where I want to be. 

 

To the Potential New Members,

This is your time to explore, be curious, and ask questions. Find YOUR place that you feel valued, welcomed, and supported. Each chapter within our Panhellenic community is unique and shares their own experiences, with an equal shared commitment to sisterhood, service, and leadership. Go into this process with an open mind and focus on yourself, no matter where you go, you can’t go wrong!

 

To the New Members,

Congratulations on finding your new home within the Panhellenic community. I am so excited to watch you thrive in your new community. This is just the beginning, the beginning of lifelong friendships, personal growth, and amazing opportunities. I hope and encourage you get involved, build the connections, and take every moment you can with your sisters. You are right where you are supposed to be!

Thank you for your time, dedication, and commitment to the Panhellenic community. You are what makes recruitment and Greek life so amazing. The way you represent yourself and your chapters is truly so special, and I hope that every experience you continue to have within the Panhellenic community is valued and memorable to you. Thank you for everything you have done, things would not be the same without you.

 

I would not be where I am today without stepping outside of my comfort zone freshman year, and with the support of everyone in this community. I can’t wait to see what amazing things are in store for you all at SJU, enjoy it all, just like I have.
